In 2004, Aaron was a wee-green, fresh-outta-the-nursery(i.e. college) system administrator on annoyingly complex supercomputers. Then some jerk decided to hack into those computers he was responsible for and all of the interconnected "grid"​ systems across the United States NSF programs, the DoD and NASA, keeping him up all night. After performing lots of boring work like DD-ing disks and giving log files to the guys who "knew what they were doing"​, he decided this kind of headache was fun, exciting and challenging.
