6. KVALIFIKOVANOST
Article 49 TEU: „Any European State which
respects the values referred to in Article 2 and is
committed to promoting them” is eligible to join the
European Union.

The values of Article 2 are: “[The] respect for human
dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of
law and respect for human rights, including the
rights of persons belonging to minorities.”

10. ACQUIS
The Community acquis or acquis communautaire, sometimes
called the EU acquis and often shortened to acquis, is the
accumulated legislation, legal acts, and court decisions which
constitute the body of European Union law. The term is
French: acquis meaning "that which has been agreed
upon", and communautaire meaning "of the community"

1. Centralized – the Commission manages components
2. Decentralized – the Commission delegates the management of
certain measures to the beneficiary country, while still retaining
overall final responsibility
3. Shared management – the implementation tasks are delegated to
EU member states (only used for cross–border cooperation with EU
countries)
4. Joint management -Implementation tasks are delegated to an
international organization, such as the UN or the World Bank.

9th of December 2012 the accession treaty was signed
The Referendum was held in Croatia
on the 22 January 2012 and the people accepted
the accession into the EU
Croatia will join the EU July 1st of 2013
