This separation causes each eye to see the world from a  slightly different perspective . Prepared and Presented by Group 02 SPFINACC B10 December 2, 2008 SWOT Analysis of Mobile 3-D  No need for 3-D glasses  Realistic gaming experience anytime, anywhere  3-D cameras already included in phone; enables 3-D video conferencing  Strains the eyes  Trying to maintain the 3-D image can be tiresome  Only one person can see the 3-D effect  3-D image can only be seen at certain angles  Adding another layer over the LCD can reduce the brightness and resolution by almost 50%  Cannot be used in direct sunlight  Not enough 3-D content for other markets (retail, education, etc.)  There may be a small market for 3-D content in mobile phones since 3-D is not yet a “staple.”  Available 3-D content provided by certain sectors (entertainment, gaming, CAD)  Many companies which produce cellular phones and television are gearing towards being 3-D capable.  Can be used for personal use (entertainment, gaming, media, calls, etc.)  Can be used for business applications (advertising, precision measurement, marketing, business presentations, etc.) S W O T
