The Wine/Oe Refractometer are highly accurate and precise optical instruments. These digital Wine/Oe
Refractometer use latest and precise optical cells to determine the exact sugar content in the unfermented grape
juice. These refractomers use digital picture processing technique and accurate temperature compensation.
Advanced microprocessor is centre of the digital salinity refractometer which measure the exact sugar content in
the unfermented
grape juice with precisions displays as three and half figures
number liquid crystal displayer. The refractometer is
simple to control and easy to carry. This equipment is

The Wine or Oe refractometer can determine the
sugar content in unfermented grape juice and with this
information the potential alcohol content if it is used to make wine. The
most important unit of measurement for refractometers is the Oechsle
(°Oe). however KMW, babo, KMN, baum and brix are also commonly in use. The
refractometer for wine making presents scales read in °Oe, sucrose / brix and KMN / babo. All of these units
measure follow the same principle, according to which 16.5g of sugar will produce 1% alcohol., Normally the

The German mechanic Ferdinand Oechsle, from Pforzheim, in the 19th century invented the system of
