I'm an enthusiastic bioinformatician focused on the analysis of large-scale genomic data sets, and a PhD student at the Transmissible Cancer Group, University of Cambridge. My strongest scientific interest is in elucidating the influence of evolutionary pressures and mutational processes on cancer; I also have wider interests in mathematical modelling, molecular evolution and microbiology. My current research revolves around the design of computational methods for the extraction and analysis of high-dimensional data sets, with the aim of unravelling the evolutionary history of an 11,000-year-old contagious cancer.
