3. A composite material (also called a composition
material or shortened to composite) is a
material made from two or more constituent
materials with significantly different physical or
chemical properties that, when combined,
produce a material with characteristics different
from the individual components. The individual
components remain separate and distinct within
the finished structure. The new material may be
preferred for many reasons: common examples
include materials which are stronger, lighter, or
less expensive when compared to traditional
materials.

•Easy to break Soluble quickly
I've discovered that water alone dissolves
faster and when we add other substances
in the water , it becomes stronger and
dissolves more slowly
Testing the materials to see which is
broken first and which is melt first

10. Water-proof or water-resistant
describes objects relatively
unaffected by water or resisting the
ingress of water under specified
conditions. Such items may be
used in wet environments or under
water to specified depths.
Waterproofing describes making an
object waterproof or water-resistant
(such as a camera, watch or mobile
phone.
12. Step 1 : you need to paraffin wax and beeswax pellets
Step 2 : measuring each of paraffin wax and beeswax pellets and cutting paraffin
wax into small pieces equal to beeswax pellets
Step 3 : fetching water in a double boiler to a boil over high heat and put it to the wax
begins to melt
Step 4 : Keep the mixture into a paper cup dried
13. 1. Easy to prepare and use and low-cost
2. The lightweight used clothing
3. It provides protection from getting wet
4. It can be used on regular cameras fit use in rainy
skies instead of buying new expensive camera

14. 1. Against water mixture made of useful and non-harmful
substances for health
2. It could be used in a large scale in all Aloltronaat clothing for
rain wither and under water and low-cost
3. Raise community awareness of this healthy and safe way that
does not damage the materials are easy to prepare and low
cost can be applied to multiple devices to become water-
proofed
15. I have started my journey with AL-Biraq by meeting the responsible engineer of
the competition . First she gave me a short quiz to assess our information then
she provided us with the competition summary and its prizes after that we
started doing some experiments about the composites which increased our
knowledge and enhanced our ways of thinking a lot , after many trials to
maintain these experiments we reached our goal then we’ve started looking for
a new way to enhance the qualities of material that we have that may help our
society the future ,
Finally we made the presentation of our project and our new idea then we went
to the advanced research center in Qatar university to discuss this presentation
with the responsible engineer
16. Many thanks to AL-Bairaq team from Center for Advanced
Materials (CAM), Qatar University for supporting us during
our journey with a AL-Bairaq.
Also, I would like to thank the sponsors UNESCO, Qatar
National Commission, Ras Gas, Maersk and Shell.
