Alec Shklyar studies economics and government relations at the University of Virginia. A longtime finance enthusiast, Alec has experience in stock trading, investing, and real estate. He will graduate and begin to pursue a full-time career in finance in 2017. Alec also loves the Russian language and devotes much of his academic career, as well as his personal life, to learning the language and absorbing all its cultural nuances. In the past Alec has played numerous competitive sports, and he continues to play tennis regularly. He credits his athletic history with teaching him how to concentrate, be patient, and push himself more than he ever thought possible.
