Alex Rau completed a Supply Chain internship with Gopher Sport from May to August 2014. After
seeing the excellent quality of his work, I highly recommend Alex.
While working at Gopher Sport, Alex identified and implemented improvements to make processes
more efficient. His creative and efficient solutions will allow us to save time and money.
He balanced multiple projects and priorities well. He accomplished this by being organized and
dedicated to his work. He paid attention to detail and asked insightful questions. Alex worked well with
others as a member of the team, and also worked well as an individual.
Alex was eager to learn and always willing to help. For example, he attended larger order/shipment
meetings to help us, and communicated follow-up actions well. He also did research on a lift gate
project that identified a way for us to better serve our customers.
Additionally, Alex is reliable and professional. He has great initiative and is very responsible. I was able
to assign Alex a project or task, and be confident that he would be able to achieve it on his own
successfully.
