Herminio Jose Lualhati Alcasid, Jr. (born 27 August
1967), known as Ogie Alcasid is a Filipino singer-songwriter,
television presenter, comedian, parodist, and actor. He is
currently the President of OPM (Organisasyon ng Pilipinong
Mang-Aawit) and Commissioner of the Edsa People Power
Commission. .Ogie was a former batch member of all male
singing group Kundirana batch 1985 after Gary V. in 1985. His
first album was released in 1988, his debut movie was Feel Na
Feel was released by Regal Entertainment in 1990, followed his
2nd movie was Tiny Terrestrial: The Tiny Professors released by
OctoArts films in 1991, the same year, Ogie made his VIVA
films debut movie, Pitong Gamol released in 1991.Alcasid's
television career started as one of the hosts of comedy show
Small Brothers on ABS-CBN in 1992.

founding members, chief songwriter and served as
the lead vocalist of the Filipino rock band
Rivermaya from 1994 until 2007, His compositions
gained success and critical acclaim, those earn
himself a reputation of being one the most
respected music icons in the the Philippines.
35. Ryan Cayabyab
(1954)
Ryan Cayabyab (born Raymundo Cipriano Pujante Cayabyab
on May 4, 1954 in Manila, Philippines but known as Mr. C) is a Filipino
musician, composer and conductor; he was Executive and Artistic
Director for several years of the defunct San Miguel Foundation for the
Performing Arts. He was also a resident judge for the only television
season of Philippine Idol, broadcast in 2006. His works range from
commissioned full-length ballets, theater musicals, choral pieces, a Mass
set to unaccompanied chorus, and orchestral pieces, to commercial
recordings of popular music, film scores and television specials.
Cayabyab's current project includes the Ryan Cayabyab Singers (RCS), a
group of seven young adult singers comparable to his group Smokey
Mountain in the early 1990s. He is the executive director of the Philpop
MusicFest Foundation Inc., the organization behind the Philippine
Popular Music Festival. This songwriting competition for amateurs and
professionals puts the spotlight on songwriters and encourages Filipinos
to preserve their unique musical identity
36. Levi Celerio
(1910-2002)
Levi Celerio (April 30, 1910 – April 2, 2002) was a Filipino
composer and lyricist. Celerio was a prolific songwriter, with over
4,000 songs to his credit. He is perhaps best known for being a leaf-
player, a feat for which he was put into the Guinness Book of
World Records. In 1997, he was named National Artist of the
Philippines for Music. Levi Celerio was born on April 30, 1910, in
Tondo, Manila to parents that hailed from Baliuag, Bulacan. He
received a scholarship to the Academy of Music in Manila and
became the youngest member of the Manila Symphony Orchestra.
He wrote several number of songs for local movies, which earned
for him the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Film Academy of
the Philippines. Celerio has written lyrics for more than 4,000
Filipino folk, Christmas, and love songs, including many that
became movie titles.
37. Rey Valera
(1954)
Reynaldo Valera Guardiano (better known as
Rey Valera) (born May 4, 1954 in Meycauayan,
Bulacan, Philippines) is a well-known singer,
songwriter, music director, film scorer and
television host from the Philippines. He wrote and
produced songs that were recorded by various
singers, most notably Sharon Cuneta. He is former
head judge of the singing contest segment "Tawag
ng Tanghalan" in a variety noontime show It's
Showtime.
38. Nilo Alcala
(1973)
Nico Alcala is a Los Angeles-based Filipino composer
whose works have been performed in Asia, Europe, Africa, and
the Americas. His awards include the POLYPHONOS Young
Composer Award from The Esoterics (Seattle, WA), the 2nd
Prize Asian Composers League Young Composer Award (Tel
Aviv, Israel), and an Ani ng Dangal (Harvest of Honor) Award
from the Philippine President. Alcala’s work Mangá Pakalagián
for chorus and kulintang ensemble was commissioned by the
Grammy-nominated Los Angeles Master Chorale, directed by
Grant Gershon and premiered on November 15, 2015, at the
Walt Disney Concert Hall). His commissions also include the
National Music Competition for Young Artists of the
Philippines, the Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral
Festival, Korean Ministry of Culture, Asia Europe Foundation,
and premieres by the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra.
39. Lito Camo
(1972)
Lito Camo (born March 12, 1972) is a Filipino
singer and songwriter. He established his
reputation more solidly as a composer instead of
being a singer which was his initial dream. He is
known for songs such as "Bakit Papa? Tawag mo
ako?", "Spaghetti Song", "Bulaklak", "Wowowee",
"Boom Tarat Tarat", and "Otso-Otso". In the
roster of artists and musician, Lito found
inspiration in Ely Buendia of the Eraserheads. Lito
Camo was a native of Bongabong, Oriental
Mindoro.
40. Snaffu Rigor
(1964)
Snaffu Rigor he started composing in
1964. His first recorded Tagalog
composition was "T.L Ako Sa'yo", a hit by
Cinderella in 1975; he also wrote the lyrics
to Ernani Cuenco's "Bato sa Buhangin" and
the English version of "Araw-araw, Gabi-
gabi". Rigor was a member of the bands
Ramrods, Cinderella, Backdoor and
Blackbuster, heads the Domestic A&R of
Blackgold and 70's Superband.
