3. To prep for ACE
We need to do a few things to prep your files to
be sent to ACE.
Get into your groups and make sure you have
access to all of your files.
I want you to name your files in a specific way
and email them to me. All the info is on the next
screen.

4. Save your files AS PDFs with your team name and the following:
The flier: teamname1.pdf
the post card: teamname2.pdf
the pre-admissions form: teamname3.pdf
the post-admissions form: teamname4.pdf
the invitation/events template: teamname5.pdf
the logo with color scheme: teamname6.pdf
Any variants: teamname7.pdf
I also want you to create a document that shares any info you want
ACE to know about your current work. This should be saved as
teamname.pdf
Email all of these documents to alexanp3 at Miamioh dot edu.

5. iMovie
I’m going to show you some basics in iMovie then set you
loose to complete a task.
For this activity, you will need to download two files. One
is a rather large video, named “class.X” which you can find
in the resources tab on Niihka

6. The task
Your very first task is to tinker and learn what you
can about iMovie. I’m just going to show you a
few really basic things, since:
1.The software is very intuitive and fun
2.You should have read a number of tutorials, so I
don’t want to repeat too much.

7. The larger task
Is to turn the 19 minutes or so worth of video I’ve given
you into a 2-4 minute (six at the most) video that
successfully makes some sort of case for this class. I want
you to choose how you think would help you best prep
for the oncoming project, so after you have tinkered a
bit with iMovie, you can choose whether you want to do
the task alone or with your team.
You can use any of the video, any music from that CC
Wired CD page, any stills you wish, and anything iMovie
can do.

8. For next week
Next week we will start to work on some web
stuff while we advance toward the video project.
