Upgrade Approach
There are multiple approaches to plan for an HFM version upgrade:

• No changes in current HFM Design
• All Metadata, Artifacts and Data are migrated from the source HFM application
u Application Redesign and Migration
• Client will undergo an HFM Application redesign to take advantage of the new
version capabilities and or adjust some functionalities of the application

new application
• Historical data needs to be validated
