Celebrating Black Excellence
In celebrating Black History Month, we honor our ancestors and historical figures who blazed the arduous trail for us to
experience many of the freedoms we have today. We also honor individuals, groups, and organizations that, despite
opposition, continue the trajectory that supports the celebration of Black History, the uplifting of the Black
Marginalized, and the advancement of Black Excellence!
The ability to gain strength, courage, and resilience from reading the stories of our ancestors is one of the many reasons
why celebrating Black Hisory Month is empowering!
