• Any potable drink is beverage.
• The word beverage comes
from Latin word “bever” means
rest.
• It gives energy and make our
body fresh.

Beverage
1. Fermented
Prepared by the process of
breaking down sugar in liquid
form into alcohol and CO2
with the reaction of yeast.
Examples: Beer, Wines

It contains ethanol that is produced
by distilling ethanol produced by
fermenting grain, fruit, or
vegetables.
Alcoholic strength: up to 75%
alcohol by volume.
Examples: Whiskey, Vodka, Rum,

1. Stimulating
Helps to stimulate the vital organs
of our body.
Coffee and tea are considered as
an stimulating beverage because
they contain caffeine.
They are usually hot beverages but
they can be cold too.

Helps to refresh our body as well
as our mind.
It helps to kill our thirst.

1. The class will be divided into 2 groups.
2. Each group will select only 5 participants to play the
game.
3. Each player will take turns to place printed beverages
assigned to them.
4. Selected students will place the printed beverages
according to their classification.
5. After the activity, the leader of the group will explain
the output in front of the class.
6. The first group to finish the game will have 20 points.
The second group to finish will get 15 points.
