As one of your vendors, we strive to provide you with the highest level of service. As part of that
commitment, we are writing to inform you of a recent scientific report. One of our core products,
the residential-grade pesticide Supercalifragilox, has been identified as a possible carcinogen in a
preliminary study.
The results are not yet conclusive, and in fact there are no documented cases of illness, despite
years of public use. There are three concurrent studies being conducted to validate or disprove
the initial research, one by us and two by independent third parties. The results are expected to
be released within six weeks. In the meantime, we have placed production of Supercalifragilox
on hold, but are continuing to offer the inventory on hand for sale. Additionally, we are offering
the ‘green’ sister-product Blueskiatic at the same price as Supercalifragilox until further notice.
The Daily Bugle is currently planning to publish an article based on the initial study. We are
currently requesting that the newspaper hold off on publication until there are conclusive results.
Unfortunately, as the media has proven over the years, fear consistently outsells facts, and The
Daily Bugle may decline to wait for evidence.
