8. Research Work
• May be done in a group of 2 (MS students). Individual for
PhD scholars.
• The topic/ area of research should be related but not
limited to security/IoT/IT/Blockchain/networks.
• The existing literature should be analyzed and the state of
the art should be identified. Be critique.
• The shortcomings within the state of the art must be
identified and a conclusion should be drawn.
• Literature Review (written) should be submitted. (IEEE
Format)
• Include all the references in the report.
9. Research Work (OHT2)
• Groups and the research area will remain same.
• Extend the state-of-the-art to handle the identified
problems by
1. Proposing a novel solution to a problem
2. Proposing a novel application of an existing solution
3. Doing an implementation of an existing solution
• Discuss the proposed extension with the instructor.
• Report (written) should be submitted. (IEEE Format)
• Include all the references in the report.
10. Research Work (Final)
• Implement your proposed solution.
• Do a comparative analysis of your solution.
• Compile a research paper by including all the related
sections and the work that was done in the first two
phases. (IEEE Format).
• Give a presentation.
