2. Cabo verde
Cabo Verde is an African country, an archipelago
of volcanic origin, consisting of ten islands. It is
located in the Atlantic Ocean, 640 km west of
Dakar, Senegal. Other neighbors are Mauritania,
Gambia and Guinea-Bissau. Interestingly, the
Cabo Verde which names the country lies not in
it, but hundreds of miles to the east, Senegal.

4. Music
There are several music generes of their
own country:
• The morna,
•The funaná,
•The coladera.
Cesária Évora is the most popular cape
verdian singer , also knowned as the
“barefoot diva'' , because she likes to
perform barefoot on stage.

6. Art
In 1975, after de independency, Some painting and sculptures artists
came out .
Every pictorial works, showed the freedom speech and the joy of
independency . it was the end of slavery and colonialism.
Nowadays , Cape Verde opened its self to the rest of the world . Its
artists grow their influences in other countries .

8. Gastronomy
• The cuisine of Cape Verde is between the typical Creole,
Portuguese and international cuisine.
• One of the most traditional dishes of Cape Verde is "cachupa
“ like our own beans.
