2016 Year-to-Date Hire Demographics by Rank Additional Information
This chart shows the last rank held by Volt’s new Veteran
employees upon separation or retirement from the military.
It also contains the rank for those currently serving in the
Guard or Reserves.
Each quarter, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) releases
unemployment statistics & lists unemployment averages. In 2015
the unemployment averages for veterans did improve over previous
years. However, unemployment rates for many veteran brackets
increased in Q1 of 2016 and may continue to rise with the large-
scale drawn-downs currently impacting the military.
