It's about gaining awareness of who you truly are, how you are stopping yourself in life, and what you can start doing to make a difference in your life.
2. A weekend with Tony Robbins...
…and 10,000 people!
Yes, that was Unleash the Power Within 2017:
an incredible experience (more than an event).

3. Extraordinary event
Of all the seminars, conferences or events that I attend, Unleash the Power Within (UPW) is
the only one that I recommend to anybody, regardless of their background, profession,
lifestyle or aspirations.
It’s a four-day, full-immersion experience that takes you through the following key stages:
how to achieve your peak state, the building blocks for creating the life you want,
transforming what is holding you back into what will drive you forwards and the philosophy
of health.

4. Opening a huge gate
If you think you already know yourself, you are bound to reconsider this assumption. Over the
course of the four days, you discover fears and limiting beliefs that are seated deep within
you and that are affecting your decisions, choices and actions (or inactions) in life.
And gaining awareness is always the first step that opens a ‘door’ (if not a huge gate) in your
mind and soul to realise that there are better options in life and more valuable and truthful
ways of being.

5. The next level
Was this the first time I’d attended UPW? Nope! I was there in 2016, too. And so were many
others I met at this year’s event. So why attend the same event twice? After all, the content is
exactly the same!
It’s true. The content was exactly the same, the exercises were exactly the same, but you end
up working on something completely different about yourself than the previous year. At the
same time, you find yourself further refining what you started working on in your life so as to
take it to the next level.

6. One key recommendation
If you do decide to attend UPW at some point in your life, there are two key
recommendations to make. The first and most important one is to fully immerse yourself in
every minute of every day and in every exercise, without judgement or preconceptions.
If you are a very analytical or sceptical person, leave that aspect of yourself at home. Just
immerse yourself in the whole experience. You can always pick up the analytical or sceptical
side again later, although I am certain it will only confirm how you have grown from the
overall experience.

7. Another key recommendation
The second recommendation is to meet and talk with as many other attendees as possible
during the event.
Listening to how they’re experiencing every exercise and minute of those four days has some
kind of learning effect as you discover the very many and varied perspectives about life that
you wouldn’t otherwise be exposed to due to our tendency to see things through our own
individual ‘blueprint’.

8. There’s always the firewalk
Will I be attending UPW 2018? I’ll leave it to you to find out next year.
Oh… I almost forgot!
In case you don’t know about this crucial moment on day one…
I did dare to face my fears and walked on hot coals!
