In the presence of great personalities and social reformers, an extraordinary message was delivered by non-resident Indians (NRI) on their daughter's first birthday celebration at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, India on March 15th. The event was organized in a unique way with the theme of social attire, where young children dressed up as great personalities and social reformers from history. The characters included Mata Jijabai, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sambhaji Raje, Samrat Ashoka, Mahatma Phule, Savitribai Phule, Tanaji Malusare, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, and Ramaai. All the characters showered blessings on the little girl, and this event became the center of attraction. The role of the parents in organizing such an event is significant, as nowadays, birthday celebrations are often themed around western or movie-related themes. In contrast, this event aimed to connect young children with their cultural heritage by dressing them up as famous social reformers. Therefore, it was an attempt to introduce a new tradition of celebrating birthdays in a unique and meaningful way.
