though.

8. There are special rules about
nor!
Use question word order after nor:
I didn’t call him, nor did I want to.
Nor combines two negatives.

9. Another way to say it:
I didn’t call him, nor did I want to.
=
I didn’t call him, and I didn’t want to,
either.

10. Another way to say it:
We didn’t have a final exam, and we
didn’t have to write a final paper,
either. =
We didn’t have a final exam, nor did
we have to write a final paper.

11. Another way to say it:
BART didn’t strike on Friday, and
they didn’t go out today, either =
BART didn’t strike on Friday, nor
did they go out today.

12. Another way to say it:
I don’t have time to go out tonight,
and my husband doesn’t, either =

nor does my husband.
