NARRATIVE REPORT IN VALUES EDUCATION
(CAREER FAIR)
I. Introduction
Values Education is very essential in the honing one’s choice of career or
path to push through. Through the values orientation of a child, he or she is able to
realize his dreams. In lieu of this, July was declared career month in order to give
emphasis to the importance of choosing a profession or career while a child is still
being honed. At this early stage, the influences of the different professions are made
available for them to choose.
II. Narrative:
As a part of this endeavor, the Carangian Elementary School conducted
different activities anchored with the Department of Education’s program. The
school values leader together with the principal with the cooperation of the teaching
staff, pupils and parents conducted different activities such as student parade
wearing attires of what they want to be in the near future, talk and lecture from
TESDA wherein it was evaluated during the Nutrition Month cook fest, wherein
the pupils cooked different nutritious foods, which can also be a business or
entrepreneurship as one of the most in demand business venture an individual may
push through or a child may enter when he or she grows up.
The activities really encouraged the school children to prepare themselves
as early as they are to choose which profession or career they want through the
“Career Fair”.
