1. Give Nothing
December 10, 2012
The greatest gift you can give anyone is ʻnothingʼ! Nothing can be something.
How can nothing be something? We often think of giving as being a material
present for a special occasion. Being in a state of ʻacceptance from the heartʼ
may be invisible, but is the greatest gift that few see, but take those who do
for granted. To give ʻacceptanceʼ, and at the same time being able to receive
from the heart is a great blessing. The ʻfiner giftsʼ are an energy that we leave
for others to know. Even in passing from the earth plane, acceptance given, and
received follows us every day.
Gifts given on special days from the heart are to be appreciated, but giving the invisible
gift everyday is a holiday, or ʻholy-dayʼ! Some days are days alone in the darkness of
wondering who really cares. Some whoʼve disappeared from connection really care, and
they leave that feeling in your heart to have forever. ʻLove is in the airʼ is more than a
song, but a reality when we open the heart of acceptance. In thoughts, we can
send love to all, or especially to those who have been close to our hearts.
Life can get busy, but who is too busy to not take the many
opportunities for opening the heart? Most have a habit of filling the mind
with the ʻflatʼ knowledge that is so incessantly harbored, and yet a
contributor to the ʻforgetfulnessʼ to ʻbreathe inʼ the love in the air.
Most give because of a feeling of obligation which is a very low
vibrational giving that is ʻego drivenʼ. Giving like this is essentially
ʻroboticʼ, and with a cookie cutter agenda of giving so as not to feel
guilty, or to receive some form of honor from the recipient. In a sense
itʼs duplicitous behavior, or a deliberate gesture with hidden motives, be
they, ʻitʼs expectedʼ, or for certain favors from the receiver down the road. The
circle of giving material gifts can be an endless one unless you well up the courage to
give nothing but an energy of compassion from the heart.
In the heart, you will find ʻnothingʼ. In the open heart there is a joyous feeling that can
come up at most any moment. It may be about your mother, father, child, sibling, or
someone you love regardless of their presence. Feel a passion to give with no
expectation of a visible appreciation, or for that matter, just the sense of your own
receiving of the feeling that is ʻnothing to anyoneʼ but in your own memory. The ʻairʼ
gives love, for the air is love. Breathe deeper and the air will begin to create a feeling in
the heart seemingly coming from nothing if you receive by
giving the ʻbreath for loveʼ.
