3. PERSONNEL PSYCHOLOGY:-
Personnel Psychology is a subfield of
Industrial psychology. It is concern with
application of psychology to the selection
procedure, employee training, a supervision
of people in business and industrial setting.
It is also concern with improving
communication, counseling employees and
attempting solve industrial unrest.
4. MANAGERIAL PSYCHOLOGY:-
It is mainly concerned with problems of
management of industries. It is more
concerned with employer/management side
and tries to maintain and develop industrial
peace and ultimate progress.
5. CONSUMER PSYCHOLOGY:-
It studies the numerous relationships
between an organization that provides
goods and services and the individual who
are recipient of those goods and services.
6. ENGINEERING PSYCHOLOGY:-
It is mainly concern with the design of equipment
and work method of the individual to operate the
equipment and the measurement of human
performance. Its main objective is not to design
machine and gadgets with due to consideration to
human performance, abilities and
limitations, wherein psychologist can contribute to a
large extent, therefore it is called engineering
psychology. It is a branch of a larger field known as
human factor engineering.
7. ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY:-
It ideals with total functioning of the
company or any other type of organization.
It is particularly concern with
leadership, employee motivation work group
dynamic, communication pattern and
organizational design and its effectiveness.
