Sarah was recognized for her philanthropic work to raise the profile of Afghan
refugees in Pakistan using her song ‘Voice of Freedom’ in a number of fund-raising
concerts. She raised over £12000 in one year which she presented in June, 2004 to
President’s Relief Fund for Afghan Refugees. Voice of Freedom also promotes faith, unity
and discipline, the central values of Pakistan, by using a recording of the Voice of Jinnah
himself in Peshawar 1948.
