INTRODUCTION AND SUBJECT MATTER
ADAM Global CEO Mr. Ashraf Rahman welcomed all the partners and the
guests who had joined the Annual Partners Meeting this year. He appreciated
all the partners and the host, the lovely Ana Rodrigues who made this all
happen. He declared the attendance was indicative of the continued support
that we offer one another and it was great to see so many from guests from all
around the globe.
Mr. Rahman declared how proud he is that we are now celebrating five years
of success, friendship and collaborations of our Network.
The network has come a long way and has achieved what no other network
has in a similar time frame. ADAM Global is now represented in all the habita-
ble continents of the world, with Australia the most recent introduction to the
network. There are now 116 offices around the globe in 65 countries. Mr.
Rahman vowed that ADAM Global would continue to endeavor to expand its
reach to regions where our clients want us to be and offer the same level of support that is expected of a profes-
sional firm, in fact, exceed it.
2015 to 2016 had seen some transactions between partners and the annual billing was approximately around
USD 200 Million. Last year had witnessed many of the partners working together to offer innovative solutions to
their clients that helped in fulfilling their desired objectives.
ADAM Global is impacting how we do business in the modern world, and lately, has been recognized as the Best
Global Services Provider in a ceremony in the United States by the CEO Clubs, and also were nominated for the
Europe Business Assembly Prestigious International Award. All the partners were assured that they will continue to
receive the best support. The achievements were all made possible through collaborative efforts of the mem-
bers and technological advancements in some systems.
The year 2015/16 has been a year of consolidation to improve efficiency. The ADAM Global team have intro-
duced various initiatives with the aim of improving the effectiveness of the network. Mr. Rahman stated that the
initiatives have started to bring in the desired results.
Cloud technology was introduced this year to improve connections between member firms worldwide and to
provide a state of the art highly secure portal for them and their clients. This gives all an increased level of
accountability, transparency, and visibility when working together on international engagements. The initiative
with a common WhatsApp has seen communication between partners and timezones made a lot easier and
convenient.
Committees have been setup with the purpose of improving the quality of the firms and the standards that the
firms adhere to. These committees will be there to support the member firms and guide them on how best to
improve their quality of services and to improve their bottom-line. The Regional Presidents will work closely within
their regions to promote specialty groups and power teams that work with one another and develop synergies.
For the Year 2017, the focus is to implement operations standards, creating robust training platforms and increas-
ing regional activities to promote businesses within the region.
Mr. Rahman stated that he believed that it is only by,
Combining our business approaches, resources and strategies that we can deliver this level of comprehen-
sive solutions to our clients across the globe and one that is professional and standardized across the network.
And I have full confidence in all our members and that together we can achieve this.
MR. ASHRAF RAHMAN,
CEO ADAM GLOBAL

The mayor showed great hospitality to all members and guests at
the glorious palace. The standard set was incredibly high and all of
the attendees were suitably impressed. The convention and the
gathering at the palace made known of the potential for investors
in Portugal and possible business references in real estate, hospitality
and products such as fruit, wines and personal interest in acquiring
properties in the region. It was a wonderful experience to see the
level of dedication, resourcefulness and reflection within the com-
munity and this was exemplified through the lunch with the Mayor.
LUNCH AT NEIGHBOURING PALACE
WITH THE MAYOR
Events & Dinners
For many the tour of Lisbon was
the first time they had experi-
ence of a European city so this
was a splendid occasion. From
seeing the old parts of the city to
the newer region Lisbon was the
perfect place for a holiday and
great for a 3 day meeting to take
place. Full of bleached white
limestone buildings and intimate
alleyways, Lisbon has a mix of
traditional architecture and con-
temporary cuisine. The city is one
of the most beautiful cities in
Europe and as one of the oldest
cities in the world it truly is a sight
to behold. The tour was comple-
mented with wonderful views,
welcoming people and delight-
ful food and drink to make it
most memorable.
LISBON CITY TOUR
While Portugal has smells and views of
the Atlantic, the cuisine is more inter-
twined with a Mediterranean feel.
The food in Portugal was fantastic
and the displays of food the attend-
ees were treated to was outstanding.
From starters to whet your appetite of
cheeses, olives, butter and olive oil
combined with fresh bread the tastes
were delightful and a great impression to start a meal. The diversity of the
fresh seafood on display as well as devouring salads, luscious meats and
quality wine to wash it all down had the attendees in great spirits. Portu-
guese cuisine is a pure winner.
DIVERSIFYING LUNCH
The Mayor of Obidos hosted a
grand and luxurious ceremony
where he introduced the Chair-
man Dr. Akhtar as a friend of
Obidos and thanked the Chair-
man for bringing new business to
the region as well as giving the
guests a chance to experience
Portuguese culture and customs.
OFFICIAL DINNER HOSTED
BY THE MAYOR OF OBIDOS
Roberto Corciulo, ADAM Global Presi-
dent of Europe spoke about the
different practice groups including
Accounting and Auditing, Book
Keeping, Law Firms, Corporate
Service Firms, Intellectual Property
Firms, Management Consulting Firms
and Visa and Residency Firms. Based
on all of this information, the groups
were divided to different round tables to discuss vision mission and the
path for each specific group. After this practice leaders were nominated
and connections were strengthened with strong bonds being achieved.
This exercise was important for members connecting with each other
from the same field and organizing and strategizing how to move
forward.
PARTNER MATCHING SESSION AND FOCUS SESSIONS
PARTNER MATCHING SESSION -
INTRODUCTION OF PRACTICE GROUPS
The wine tasting experience was a
great way to delve into the Portu-
guese culture. The production and
manufacturing of Portuguese wine is
growing and the wines were all
explained by the owner of the wine
manufacturing company.
She passionately explained for 2
hours about the different process from harvesting, destemming, crushing,
fermentation, pressing to blending and fining. The whole process of how
vineyards are made and then describing the different tastes of the wines
and how you get such variations. It
was a wonderful experience and a
far cry for many of the attendees
from where they came from. Follow-
ing the tour and wine tasting was a
lavish dinner where all needs were
catered for from meat eaters to
vegetarians. Memories were made
and captured.

Media & Photo Session
Awards were presented by the Chairman Dr.
Akhtar, ADAM Global representatives and
Government Officials and the winning
attendees showed off their trophy with pride.
An amazing experience where the attendees experienced the
medieval past of the city of Obidos. There were people singing,
dancing and undertaking shows and plays in costumes and char-
acters. Medieval scenes showing fighting and battles like in
famous Hollywood movies was a great attraction and everyone
embraced the occasion with such verve and wonder. The town
came to life and it was a magical experience. The food and drink
served at the show were medieval specialties including delicious
grilled meats and a local cherry wine called Ginja.
