The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Background
• History: Founded in 1949, LLS has been fighting cancer for
decades. They are currently the world’s largest voluntary health
agency dedicated to fighting blood cancer.
• Mission: To cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's Disease
and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their
families.
• Purpose: With the confidence that someday there will be a cure,
