Ever since I was a kid I've played games. As a teenager, I started thinking about games differently; I started asking questions. What makes a good game? If I could make the ultimate game, what would it be? What would make it engaging and fun? It became fascinating to take a step back and look at the medium and question trends and norms that shaped the industry. This made me want to study game design at the university, which gave me a better lens, to see and understand the things I couldn't before.
