6. Summer job for credit
If you are in grade 9 – 11 and wish to use your
summer job for work experience credit, speak to Ms
Wegner ASAP. Information must be confirmed by
June 3, which leaves time for employers to be
approved and to ensure all documentation is in
order prior to the start of summer.

7. If you are in grade 9 – 11 and are interested
in Green Certificate, the meeting for students,
parents and trainers is tomorrow, Wednesday,
May 22 at 10:30 am, in the library.
You do not need to have signed up for Green
Certificate to attend the meeting.

15. With the school year quickly coming to an
end, ScholarTree.ca has made a concerted effort to
add as many scholarships to the platform as they
could find. In the last month, they have added 41
scholarships that total of 122 awards with a value of
$1,095,000.
Most of these awards’ deadline are in May and June,
so there is still time for students who have put off
applying to scholarships throughout the school year.
