Objectives
Students will be able
1. To enable the students adopt and learn about the Science .
2.To provide the students deep insight with facts and principles of science.
3.To develop their ability to perform scientific experiments in a skillful manner.
4.To create appropriate faith in the students concerned with the values and
contributions of science, acquiring questioning and inquiry skills
5.To provide appropriate opportunity for the development of the inventive and
creative faculties excluding process, skills in the students.
6.To equip the students with all the basic scientific knowledge and skills helpful for
everyday
1. By the end of the lesson students will be able to develop
conceptual clarity of Respiration.
2. By the end of the lesson student will be able to describe
the Respiration and it’s type in her/his own words.
3. By the end of the lesson Student will be able to
determine how Anaerobic Respiration and Aerobic
respiration takes place.
4. By the end of the lesson students can differentiate
Teaching Aids:- Respiratory anatomy chart, Chalk, Duster,
Blackboard, Textbook, respiratory anatomy and Teaching
Learning Materials. (TLM )
Teaching learning materials(TLM )
TLM is the term refers to a spectrum of educational materials that
teachers use in the classroom to support specific learning
objectives, as set out in lesson plans
USES OF TLM
The role of TLMs in the classroom are to make learning real,
practical and fun for children. Teachers use TLMs to illustrate
or reinforce a skill, fact or idea. TLMs also help in bringing
novelty and freshness in classroom teaching as it relieves
learners from anxiety, fear and boredom.
Previous Knowledge:- Basic knowledge of
human respiration & its types and
different organs involved in
respiration.
introduction
Teachers Activity Students Activity
After entering the classroom the
teachers will make a primary
conversation with the students and
arrange the class to make it suitable for
today's lesson.
before going to demonstrate today's
lesson the teacher will check the
Previous Knowledge of the students.
Teacher will ask different questions
which are related to previous
knowledge.
In order to motivate the students the
teacher will ask some questions
1. what is respiration ?
The students will obey the teachers and
trying to give the answers.
Students will answer as-
1 Ans:-Process which involves taking in
oxygen into the cells, using it for
releasing energy by burning food and
then eliminating the waste products like
Teachers Activity Students Activity
2.What is the various parts
involved in human respiration ?
The teacher assume that
children have the basic idea
of respiration including wrong
concepts
2.Ans- Mouth and nose: Openings that
pull air from outside our body into your
respiratory system.
Sinuses: Hollow areas between the bones
in our head that help regulate the
temperature and humidity of the air we
inhale.
Pharynx (throat): Tube that delivers air
from our mouth and nose to the trachea
(windpipe).
Trachea: Passage connecting our throat
and lungs.
Bronchial tubes: Tubes at the bottom of
our windpipe that connect into each lung.
Lungs: Two organs that remove oxygen
from the air and pass it into our blood.
Announcement of days lesson
 After knowing the previous knowledge of the
students. The teacher have to announce the
today’s topic is "Respiration in human " and
the teacher will write it on the blackboard
and instruct the students to write it in their
copies with date.

Definition of
respiration.
Organs
responsible for
respiration
The teacher will explain the
definition of respiration.
When we produce new off-
spring from one respiration is
called Respiration.
Then the teacher will ask
question as
1.what is respiration?
2. What are the organs involved
in respiration?
The students will listen care fully
and have to watch on blackboard if
any anatomy drawn by teacher.
The student will answer as
1. Ans- Respiration a process
in living organisms involving
the production of energy,
typically with the intake of
oxygen and the release of
carbon dioxide from the
oxidation of complex organic
substances.
2. Ans:-Mouth and nose ,
Sinuses, Pharynx (throat),
Trachea, Lungs, Bronchial
tubes

Types of
Respiration
The teacher will explain the types of
Respiration:
Anaerobic Respiration: When nutrients
are oxidized without the use of O2 . In
yeast glucose forms ethyl alcohol and
CO2. In bacteria respiration are
anaerobic in nature .
In Aerobic Respiration:
When nutrients are oxidized with the
use of O2 either from air or from water .
i) External respiration : Exchange of
gases between Blood and air ii)
Transport of gases to the tissues
The teacher will ask question as
Q1. What are the types of Respiration?
Q2. What are the main parts of
respiration?
Q3. Define Aerobic and Anaerobic
Respiration?
Students will listen care fully
The student will answer as
A1. The types of Respiration
are:- i. Aerobic Respiration. ii.
Anaerobic Respiration.
A2. The main parts of respiration
are:- Mouth and nose , Sinuses,
Pharynx (throat), Trachea,
Lungs, Bronchial tubes
A3. Anaerobic Respiration:
When nutrients are oxidized
without the use of O2 . In yeast
