Developing and innovative strategy to vaccination against pathogenic bacteria by raising the immune response to the antibiotic resistance gene contained by pathogen. Antibiotic resistance genes ensures pathogens survival and proliferation in presence of antibiotics. Multiple resistant bacterial strains present a severe threat to general populations as well as to hospital patients. Our approach is to use antibiotic resistance genes and their products as a target for immunotherapy, in order to provide the alternative to antibiotic use.
