3. A light? For sleeping? Isn’t that
contradictory?
You’ll find Light Sleeper to be the most
natural thing in the world. Light Sleeper is a
very clever device that projects a soothing light
on the ceiling. The light moves in a circular
motion above the bed. You follow the light with
your eyes for a few minutes, and you begin to
drift off.
4. We have been testing Light Sleeper in
real world situations for many months now. It
has proven itself to be effective, both in getting
people to sleep in the first place, as well as
helping them get back to sleep when they
wake up in the middle of the night. Light
Sleeper’s ease of use (just tap it to turn it on)
makes it ideal for use at any time, at home or
while travelling.
5. Why does this work? Following the light has
the effect of relaxing the mind, a necessary
prerequisite to entering a deep, refreshing
sleep, a product designer with insomnia.

Light Sleeper
Light Sleeper should be placed at your bedside,
where it can project onto your ceiling without
obstruction. It should be positioned so you can
see the light on the ceiling easily, without
straining your neck or eyes. Your bedroom
should be as dark as possible (consider using
lined curtains) and, ideally, the temperature
should be between 13 and 24 C (55 and 75 F).
11. 2. Operating LightSleeper
The switch at the back of LightSleeper turns it
on. A button on the base allows you to adjust
the brightness of the light. The green indicator
lights tell you the brightness level; five is the
maximum brightness. Each time you push the
brightness button the brightness will increase

course, you may also use Light
Sleeper, while it is plugged into
the main’s power.
13. Light Sleeper is helping real
people sleep.
We’ve been researching Light Sleeper
for over two years now, and the results
have been eye-opening (so to speak):
78% of users report a significant
improvement in their ability to get to
sleep, stay asleep and improve the
quality of their sleep as well.

17. In his own words:
“I was amazed by how quickly my
sleeping pattern changed for the better.
Within four days use I had slept solidly for 7
hours, the first time in years and on the fifth
day I slept through to the 6:25 alarm – I can’t
remember the last time that this happened.”
“The design and operation are both
