Blue Patch is the place to shop online for the UK’s most inspiring ethical products and services.
A social enterprise 100% of our net surplus profit will create the Blue Patch Foundation to fund renewable energy, apprenticeships, local community and closed loop innovation.
2. Blue Patch is a selective directory of ethical businesses and services for the UK
3. Our website is already built, we invested in it ourselves. Here is one of the Blue
Patch Business Plus micro sites showing one of our pioneer members.
4. We designed the website in consultation with businesses. The site is now in
beta test.

6. We are a transparent business. We will publish our income, core costs and net
surplus profit online.
7. 100 % of our net surplus profit will form the Blue Patch Foundation.
• Renewable energy investment and R&D
• Community projects suggested by our business members
• Apprenticeships
• Conservation
• Education for sustainability
• Closed loop economy to cut waste
• Welcoming local initiatives for our elderly
8. We have a data base in excess of 500 potential members and we have spoken
to all of them all! Many have been involved in our focus groups.
9. Not only a directory:
• Business to business forums
• People can connect to innovate through the forums
• Accelerate closed loop manufacturing
• Facilitate equipment sharing
• Support for start ups
• Cooperative buying
• Work, train and volunteer section so you can pop in your postcode and fine
local jobs
• A forum to help young people with issues that occur in work.
• Events and real time meet ups, pop up shops and Blue Patch Salons
• Find out more: links to independent experts such as the FSC, MSC, Organic
Soil Association and Ethical Consumer
10. The UK needs Blue Patch
• We are ready to launch. We now need help to jump the initial income gap
• Our financial forecast is very healthy (we have 4 year conservative
projections showing a profit by year 2)
• We are confident Blue Patch will be sustainable and can scale
• Blue Patch canmake a difference to our economy, communities and
environment
• We open the doors to our 200 pioneer members over the next few weeks
• We go live to the UK once we have the site ‘charged up’ with great things
• We have a social media campaign at the ready
Thanks for reading our proposal, the Blue Patch team
