This year I would like see how many titles I select for my library that are considered good enough to be considered for a national award. Sometimes the titles fall under the radar, but I was spot on for "Wonderstruck" (2012 Schrieder Family Award), "Deadend in Norvelt" ( 2012 Newbery Award) and "Then and Now" (2012 Coretta S. King for both author and illustrator). I didn't know which title was to get what, but I knew they were award wiinning material. Let's see how close I get this year!
