2. A Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Milling machine is
one that performs the functions of drilling and often,
turning.
CNC milling is a specific form of computer numerical
controlled (CNC) machining. Milling itself is a machining
process similar to both drilling and cutting, and able to
achieve many of the operations performed by cutting and
drilling machines. Like drilling, milling uses a rotating
cylindrical cutting tool.
The CNC Mills are classified depending on the number of
axes that they possess.

3. CNC milling machines are traditionally programmed using
a set of commands known as G-codes. G-codes
represent specific CNC functions in alphanumeric format.
Computer numerical control, or CNC, machining is a
computer-aided technique that can be used in
conjunction with a broad range of equipment.
It requires software and programming, usually in the Gcode language, to guide a machining tool in shaping the
work piece according to preset parameters.
