2. Mission
To create an “Arid Lands Proof of Concept
Center” that seeks to make use of technology
from principal research entities and its
partners worldwide to enhance the economy
of Arizona and its tribal lands.

3. Objectives
• Establish new companies or vitalize established companies
with new arid lands technology
• Develop cooperative technology development between Arid
Lands Sustainable Bio-Energy Institute (University of Arizona-
USA), Univerisidad de Sonora (Mexico), and The Technion
Institute (Israel) in the area of Bio-Energy, including, bio-
mass, and high value byproducts.
• Provide support to companies that have accepted technology
(new or established) via seed money, talent, hr, and strategy.
