6. How would you like to be consulted?
#C4CJconsultationCU-Visitor
Code: C4CJ
Preferably by online
means like this
survey. Can not
afford (time/money)
to attend too many
networking events.
A social event
where we can talk
face to face. Or an
online chat- google
hangout or skype
Online consultation where the
proposals are clearly stated with
regards to the aims and
objectives.
Email? Meetings but the
nature of hyperlocal
makes f2f expensive and
difficult.
7. How should a representative body be run?
#C4CJconsultationCU-Visitor

Representatives from a range of hyper locals. Five? Year
vision and plan. Key roles on body could change every 2-3
years. Body could have regional centres. Physical space
for community journalists to meet and share. Skills share.
Greater networking. At the moment I have contact with
C4CJ but not other hyper locals. Could share best practice
more widely. 'Partner' news sites.
Perfect world: Lay
member directed
and governed but
professionally-led.
In essence a membership that
then 'elects' a board / steers
general policy / aims and
objectives as they may change
over time. Graded membership
based off size/criteria allowing the
more serious operators more
influence, but those smaller to
grow as well.
