Carlos Ralli Ucendo got his degree in Telecommunications Engineer from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). In 1999 he established the first connection of Telefónica I+D and DIT-UPM Labs to the IPv6 "6-Bone" worldwide network.
After leading Euro6IX (2002-2005), the largest EC funded IPv6-specific project involving operators, he has leaded Telefónica participation in the ISOC "World IPv6 Day" initiatives, held in June 2011 & 2012.
Currently, Carlos has joined the FI-WARE (@Fiware) project, focussed on Future Internet services and he is opening a new research line: "Opportunities and impact of IPv6 massive uptake in Digital services and products".
