Through its national committee, regional divisions and wider membership, the ARLG aims to: • Ensure opportunities for professional development including a national conference and a Member’s day event • Engage proactively with national issues and debates • Encourage and facilitate exchange of information and experience • Support, develop and promote best practice and staff development through bursaries, awards and other initiatives • Develop and sustain a strong regional structure to optimise members’ active participation • Develop and sustain international links including facilitating visits and exchanges
