went in with us to James, and all the elders were
present. ARer gree.ng them, he related one by
one the things that God had done among the
Gen.les through his ministry. And when they
heard it, they glorified God. And they said to
him, “You see, brother, how many thousands
there are among the Jews of those who have
believed.
5. They are all zealous for the law, and they have
been told about you that you teach all the Jews
who are among the Gen.les to forsake Moses,
telling them not to circumcise their children or
walk according to our customs. What then is to
be done? They will certainly hear that you have
come.

“Men of Israel, help! This is the man who is
teaching everyone everywhere against the people

11. Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when
it comes upon you to test you, as though something
strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar
as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also
rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you
are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed,
because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon
you. But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a
thief or an evildoer or as a meddler. Yet if anyone
suffers as a Chris.an, let him not be ashamed, but
let him glorify God in that name.
1 Peter 4:12-‐16 (ESV)

may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
James 1:2-‐4 (ESV)
