- May 2012 team donated funds toward building this home for a widow and her children. October team was blessed to attend the dedication of this home the day before the family moved in.
- The widow’s 2 young daughters with Celeste Whisenant, looking out their new front window. The new home owner at a dedication service for her home. The new “state of the art” outdoor oven for the new home.
- Maria de los Angeles “Angela” and her son David. May 2012 identified her as having a suspicious thyroid mass. The Honduran medical system had told her to go home and prepare to die. 5 months later, we had a visa, a passport and brought Angela back with October 12 team for treatment.
- Churches and neighbors provided funds so that the entire family could make the 3 hour trip to the airport to see Angela off
- This very poor area needs a school. Several children have been hit, one killed, on the highway they must walk on to get to school. October 12 team and several individuals contributed funds for a new 4 room school. The neighbors will provide the labor, we provide the materials. We pray that the May 13 team will be on hand for the opening of the new school.
- Others have donated funds for a small church on the same property. Leonel shows us where the school will be.
