Carey Hagan has had experience with a wide range of library core areas, from reference to research, to cataloging and collection development, in addition to library instruction. From January to March 2004, Carey Hagan interned at the Library of Congress’ Technical Processing and Automation Instruction Office (TPAIO) while studying for an M.S. in Library and Information Science at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. While at the Library of Congress, Carey Hagan worked as an Instructor and Course Designer to other librarians. After observing and aiding Library of Congress instructors, Carey Hagan helped redesign existing research and database courses.
