3. Hong Kong is gorgeous and tropical!
Over 70° and sunny!

5. The metro system is SO clean and easy to use!

“average” mall looks like…

9. Street Shopping!
-Ladies Market
-Temple Street Market
-Central

10. FOOD!!!
-Fast Food – Even their fast food comes in huge
portions and is made fresh. SO good.
-Street Food – Smaller portions but costs the
equivalent of a nickel in US dollars! (I tried
seasoned tofu and horse!)
-Tea Time-

LOVES milktea!
Tea time comes

appetizer, a
meat, and
something sweet
(I had French
toast with peanut
butter and honey.

11. The culture is really influenced by traditional
Confucian values even though it’s more
westernized than Mainland China

12. Wishing for good luck and health for the whole
family!

13. There are two extremes:
Parts that are huge, extravagant, and affluent

15. And parts that show severe poverty

16. Often they even exist on the same street

17. Then I spent a day in Mainland China

18. Everything there is bigger, greyer, and more
spread apart
