Introducción
La mayor parte de lo que hemos visto hasta ahora ha sido de
átomos aislados hemos hablado del número de electrones,
protones, neutrones y la configuración electrónica de los átomos,
pero los átomos no sólo operan de manera aislada si ese fuera el
caso el universo entero incluidos nosotros sería un montón de
átomos a la deriva, lo que empieza a ser interesante es como los
átomos interactúan entre sí. Una de las formas más interesantes en
las que los átomos pueden interactuar es cuando se unen unos a
otros y llegan a formar un enlace.
Enlaces Químicos
Para la formación de los
compuestos los átomos de los
diferentes elementos deben
mantenerse unidos a través de un
enlace químico. El cual se define
como la fuerza que mantiene
unidos a grupos de dos o más
átomos(moléculas) de un
compuesto y hacen que
funcionen como una unidad,
gracias a que los elementos
comparten, ceden o ganan
electrones dentro de los mismos.
Enlaces Químicos
Cuando los átomos se unen, tienden a ganar o perder electrones de su
capa más externa, electrones de valencia, para adquirir estructura de
gas noble. Esta regla se conoce como regla del octeto y se puede
conseguir por transferencia o por compartición de electrones.
Principales tipos de enlaces químicos.
Son los electrones de
valencia quienes
determinan de que
forma se unirá un
átomo con otro y las
características del
enlace.
Principios de enlace químico (Estructura de Lewis).
La estructura de Lewis de un elemento consiste
en la representación de los electrones de
valencia mediante la localización de puntos
alrededor del símbolo químico.
Es una representación gráfica que muestra los
enlaces entre los átomos de una molécula y los
pares de electrones solitarios que puedan existir.
Principios de enlace químico (Estructura de Lewis).
Para visualizar

alrededor del símbolo
del elemento (Lewis).

Introducción La mayor parte de lo que hemos visto hasta ahora ha sido de átomos aislados hemos hablado del número de electrones, protones, neutrones y la configuración electrónica de los átomos, pero los átomos no sólo operan de manera aislada si ese fuera el caso el universo entero incluidos nosotros sería un montón de átomos a la deriva, lo que empieza a ser interesante es como los átomos interactúan entre sí. Una de las formas más interesantes en las que los átomos pueden interactuar es cuando se unen unos a otros y llegan a formar un enlace.
  • 3. Enlaces Químicos Para la formación de los compuestos los átomos de los diferentes elementos deben mantenerse unidos a través de un enlace químico. El cual se define como la fuerza que mantiene unidos a grupos de dos o más átomos(moléculas) de un compuesto y hacen que funcionen como una unidad, gracias a que los elementos comparten, ceden o ganan electrones dentro de los mismos.
  • 4. Enlaces Químicos Cuando los átomos se unen, tienden a ganar o perder electrones de su capa más externa, electrones de valencia, para adquirir estructura de gas noble. Esta regla se conoce como regla del octeto y se puede conseguir por transferencia o por compartición de electrones.
  • 5. Principales tipos de enlaces químicos. Son los electrones de valencia quienes determinan de que forma se unirá un átomo con otro y las características del enlace.
  • 6. Principios de enlace químico (Estructura de Lewis). La estructura de Lewis de un elemento consiste en la representación de los electrones de valencia mediante la localización de puntos alrededor del símbolo químico. Es una representación gráfica que muestra los enlaces entre los átomos de una molécula y los pares de electrones solitarios que puedan existir.
  • 7. Principios de enlace químico (Estructura de Lewis). Para visualizar rápidamente estos electrones se pueden colocar como puntos alrededor del símbolo del elemento (Lewis).
