ele. Talvez ele nos aponte o caminho a seguir".

were not; and he passed through the land of the Benjamites,
but they found them not.”
5 And when they came to the land of Zuph, Saul said to his
servant, Come, let us return, lest my father stop worrying
about the donkeys and become concerned about us.
6 The servant said to him, Behold now, there is in this city a
man of God, a man held in honor; all that he says surely
comes true. Now let us go there. Perhaps he can show us
where we should go.

dar?
a seguir".
8. 1 Samuel 9:6-8
And he said unto him, “Behold now, there is in this city a man
of God, and he is an honorable man. All that he saith cometh
surely to pass. Now let us go thither. Perhaps he can show
us our way that we should go.”
Then said Saul to his servant, “But behold, if we go, what
shall we bring the man? For the bread is spent in our vessels
and there is not a present to bring to the man of God. What
have we?”
And the servant answered Saul again and said, “Behold, I
have here at hand a fourth part of a shekel of silver. That will
I give to the man of God to tell us our way.”

crise da sua vida - um enorme exército
invasor de Moab e Amon - ele virou-se
para Deus de uma forma exemplar.
Ele guiou o seu povo à oração e jejum,
como todos nós devemos fazer em
circunstâncias aparentemente impossíveis.
Deus, então, falou através do profeta
Jaaziel.
O homem de Deus encorajou o povo e
disse:
26. When King Jehoshaphat faced the greatest
crisis of his life – an enormous invading
army from Moab and Ammon – he turned to
God in an exemplary manner.
He led his people to prayer and fasting, as
we all should do under seemingly
impossible circumstances.
God then spoke through the prophet
Jahaziel.
The man of God encouraged the people
and said:
vossas posições, ficai parados, e vede a salvação do

Dois
deles haviam concordado em matar o terceiro. Em
seguida, depois de terem dizimado esse exército,
começaram a matar-se uns aos outros. As duas
últimas pessoas que restaram mataram-se um ao
outro.
36. When the people of Judah came over the hill and
looked, these three armies that had aligned
against them had turned on each other. Two of
them had agreed to kill the third. Then, after they
wiped out that army, they began killing each other.
The very last two people standing killed each
other. So when the armies of Judah came over the
hill, they looked and there was nothing but
corpses.
They found so much gold, silver, and clothes that it
took the entire nation of Judah three days to gather
the spoil.

passes by continually.
Let us make a small chamber on the [housetop] and put there for him a bed, a table, a
chair, and a lamp. Then whenever he comes to us, he can go [up the outside stairs and
rest] here.
One day he came and turned into the chamber and lay there.
And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunamite. When he had called her, she
stood before him.
And he said to Gehazi, Say now to her, You have been most painstakingly and
reverently concerned for us; what is to be done for you? Would you like to be spoken for
to the king or to the commander of the army? She answered, I dwell among my own
people [they are sufficient].
49. Ela participou tomando algo que
ela tinha e dando a ele -

sua vida através do seu dom.
“Um presente abre o caminho e introduz o doador
na presença dos grandes.” NIV
causa do teu presente.
50. She participated by taking
something she had and giving it to
him - inviting his anointing into her
life through her gift.
“A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the
presence of the great.” NIV
“A man's gift makes room for him And brings him
before great men.” NASB
Proverbs 18:16
The word "and" means also, so this verse is saying two things:
N°.1 it's saying that your gift will make room for you.
N°.2 it's saying that you'll be brought before great men because of
your gift.
53. No original Hebraico,
contigo.
54. In the original Hebrew,
The writer is referring to financial things
In fact, when you look it up, you will find that
in the Middle East - and the Bible is an
Eastern book - it was customary for a man to
bring a gift to an individual in order to be
heard by that individual.
You had to present a gift before anyone
would even discuss business with you.
55. A palavra hebraica traduzida como
"presente" em Prov. 18:16 significa
um presente.
E a palavra "abrir caminho" significa ampliar.
Então, por outras palavras, poderíamos ler
esse versículo assim:
"O presente de um homem vai
ampliar, causar expansão, ou criar
oportunidade para ele. E, acima de
tudo isso, o presente de um homem
vai levá-lo perante grandes homens."
56. The Hebrew word translated "gift"
in Prov. 18:16 means a present.
And the word "room" means to broaden.
So, in other words, we could read that verse
like this:
"A man's present will broaden, cause
expansion, or create opportunity for
him. And, on top of all that, a man's
present will bring him before great
men."
58. A gift will open doors of opportunity
for you
God gave the gift of Jesus to us.
That gift opened our heart to God, and it created the
opportunity for Him to receive billions of sons.
And if we're doing our job of witnessing to the lost,
then He's getting more sons every day.
Why is this happening?
Because a gift maketh room!
It opens windows of opportunity!

incredulidade.
