Professional Summary
I have recently finished my 3 year Degree in Early Childhood Studies. I am passionate about working
with children and now I am qualified, seek to make it a chosen profession. I have volunteered and
worked in nurseries, children centres and schools and worked with a wide range of ages and
abilities. Whilst in education I have worked numerous different jobs which have developed my
personal and occupational skills and knowledge. I have excellent communication skills, I am highly
motivated; reliable and ambitious. I am always eager to learn new skills and to participate in any
training required.

 Graduated with Upper Second Class Honours - 2:1
 Participated in numerous voluntary work placements including, nurseries, child centers and
primary schools.
 Campaigned and nominated as Welfare and Diversity Officer for the Students’ Union – this role
required me to support students’ welfare, provide drop in sessions, attend conferences and
university meetings; participate in training schemes, liaise with external companies, organize
campaigns and events and chair hub meetings.
BTEC National Diploma, Level 3 – Health and Social Care 2012

 Graduated with Distinction, Distinction, Merit - DDM
 Voted class president – this role required me to attend regular meetings and correspond with
professional bodies at the college.

Achievements and Interests
 During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and love being outdoors, with
walking and camping being a strong passion of mine. When relaxing, I enjoy taking time out
to focus on my hobbies of reading, drawing, photography and listening to music.
 Furthermore, I have a very keen interest in travelling and have visited over fifteen countries,
including South Asia, Africa and North America.
 Fundraising - I have participated in numerous charity events, including raising £400 for Cancer
Research and £500 for SCBU in Glan Clwyd.
 Becoming the Student Union’s Welfare and Diversity Officer.
