During the economic downturn, Americans were often working more than 1 job or doing overtime to make ends meet. Time is a precious
commodity. Restaurant portions are large, high in fat, sodium, and calories.
While the CDC data shows 66% of adults and 33% of children are overweight or obese. Americans are losing their ability to cook as these skills
are not being passed on to younger generations. This dangerous trend sets the stage for Americans to lose control of what they eat as we
become ever more reliant on convenient processed foods.
