The CLMD/Pearson BTEC Level 3, 120 credits,
diploma qualification is designed to provide highly
specialist, work-related vocational training for a
range of sectors to give learners the knowledge,
understanding and skills that they need to
prepare for employment. The qualification

those already in work, and progression
opportunities to higher education, degree and

CLMD takes a learner focused approach in the
delivery of the programme.
All learners are taken through a diagnostic test
which sets the starting point for the individualised
training.
For learners without Maths and English GCSE or
equivalent qualification, the Functional Skills
Level 2 Maths and English training is offered.
The programme is delivered through a blended
format as both online and face to face delivery
are used.
Each learner’s progress is tracked and the
continued support offered is based on such
progress.
