In have used native Linux measurement tool system like clock, time, getrusage, gettimeofday to check the other tools efficiency by monitoring the computational time of the each and every function and memory usage by that functions. The CPU intensive functions are monitored to identified using this tool and proper follow up is done to ensure better performance from these functions. And after this optimization bottlenecks paths are identified and improved upon.
