Born in south Louisiana and educated as a geological engineer at the University of Mississippi. Worked with Parsons Brinckerhoff, Inc., in Dallas, Texas, as an entry-level geologist and civil engineer doing dam, levee, tunnel, highway, and large building projects from 2009 until early 2011. Then transferred to NYC to work onsite during the construction of the Second Avenue Subway project. We drove a 22-ft diameter, open-faced tunnel boring machine from 95th Street and 2nd Avenue to 63rd and Lexington then drilled and blasted for station caverns at 72nd and 86th streets.
