INT. HALLWAY
- MORNING
The students are in the classroom thinking about their day
ahead. They're all fearful about the first day of college.
JAY
(quietly)
I'm not sure if I like this
place...
TEACHER
(ruefully)
Come on students everyone find
your ways to your classes.
INT. CLASSROOM
- MOMENTS LATER
JAY enters his classroom feeling highly worried. Students
are screaming and messing around.
TEACHER
(boisterously)
I know you're all worried but
we've got a lot of work and
training to input.
JOEY
But what if we've been training
ourselves?
TEACHER
Then you'll just have to show us
what skills you've got already.
Sudden object flies across the room and smashes on the
floor. Everyone looks around in shock.
HEAD MASTER
(voice over)
One thing you'll notice is that
not one of these students are
the same, they're all unique and
powers are what they claim.
EXT. COURTYARD
- AFTERNOON
Hours have passed in the school of Merrywether High, all
students had made groups of friends with similar powers.
The sounds of laughter are heard.
ALEXIA
Hey look, there's a kid over
there on his own!
ALEXIA walks over to the courtyard corner where JAY is
standing.

ALEXIA
(excitingly)
Hi there, i'm Alexia, what's
your name?
JAY
(nervously)
Urhm...my names Jay. I don't
know anyone here yet.
ALEXIA
Oh right, come and play powers
with us!
Alexia runs off over to the group of other students. But
there's a problem, Jay has not yet gained his power.
INT HOME
Jay sits thinking about the day he had starting his new
school.
JAY
(angrily)
Uhg why haven't i got my powers
yet, everyone has theirs
already, but not me! Im useless.
Jay reaches into his bag whilst sitting in his room, and
pulls out his books. A leaflet falls out from his planner.
INT. LATER ON THAT NIGHT
JAY
Mum, mum! I found something
really amazing, i need to start
training like now, i need your
help!
JAYS MUM
Yes i'm here jay, what can i do
for you?
JAY
I found this letter, it's for a
unique power competition, maybe
this could get me some friends.
JAYS MUM
(happily)
Oh my Jay! That's wonderful, we
better get started then, your
power will relate to something
you've always wished for.
